Bleiker's fresh salmon is reared in wild conditions in the pristine waters of the Scottish Isles under the stringent RSPCA 'Freedom Food' scheme - the most highly recognised farm assurance scheme in the UK. These high standards ensure low stocking densities, sympathetic handling methods and humane harvesting in order to cause minimal stress to the fish.
These rearing methods result in salmon with lower body fat, higher muscle density and ultimately more flavour.
